Condition and roll your clay to an even thickness. Lightly dust the clay or the texture roller with cornstarch or water to prevent sticking. Starting at one edge, apply gentle, firm even pressure and roll the texture roller across the surface in one smooth pass. Lift carefully to reveal the pattern. Cut, shape, and assemble your piece as desired, then bake or cure according to your clay’s instructions.
