FAIRY STAMP CUTTER & PCC 444 TRANSFER PAPER SET | CLAY CUTTER
FAIRY STAMP CUTTER & PCC 444 TRANSFER PAPER SET | CLAY CUTTER
THIS IS A SINGLE CUTTER AND (1) TRANSFER PAPER SET
These sharp and sturdy polymer clay cutters effortlessly slice through clay, ensuring clean, precise shapes with every use.
Cutters are 3D printed with biodegradable PLA, this product is environmentally friendly and will last for years if used, cleaned, and stored properly. PLA colors may vary based on what I have in stock at time of printing.
This is a physical product, not a STL file.
CUTTER SIZE
• Cutters are measured from the length of the longest edge.
• Cutter height is .5in / 1.5cm / 11mm
• Cutting edges vary between .2-.4mm
HOW TO USE
• Roll clay slab on a glossy, flat surface such as a glass or ceramic tile.
• Highly suggest using cornstarch over soapy water (soapy water breaks down PLA material)
• Use "double press" method to get a clean cut and avoid clay sticking in cutter
• Tap into cornstarch, press half way into clay and release. Tap into cornstarch a second time, press all the way through clay, wiggle slightly if needed and release.
• Dust off excess cornstarch with soft bristle brush such as a blush brush.
• Bake per clay instructions {I personally bake at 275 degrees for 45-60minutes for a strong finished product}
CUTTER CARE
• Hand-wash gently with cool water. DO NOT SOAK!
• Store in a cool dry place
• Do not expose to heat or direct sunlight
• NOT dishwasher, microwave or oven safe!!
Size 4 x 5
• Condition your clay and roll onto your slab, securing it in place.
• Pre-cut your transfer paper.
You do not want to waste any, right?!
• Place paper bright color side down. Roll over your slab a few times over, this will help secure your paper to your clay.
FOR BEST RESULTS - USE ON LIGHT COLOR CLAY
• Run your clay slab under water with a soft flow. Paper will instantly start to bubble up and wash away.
• If needed you can use a soft brush or your finger to LIGHTLY rub & remove excess paper residue. BE CAREFUL not to press too hard as your image may crack.
• Allow clay slab to dry (any left over paper will turn white, YES you can re-wash your slab to remove) and then bake as instructed by the brand of clay.
• AFTER BAKE: I highly suggest sealing your piece. Although the image is durable, you want to insure your pieces have a long life.
